About Us

Dr. Wendy Rod received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1998 from Life college in Marietta, GA. With a focus on Total Body Wellness, she utilizes a multifaceted approach as she partners with people to meet their health goals. Treatments not only include chiropractic adjustments using the Activator, Drop and/or personalized protocols, but also muscle testing, soft tissue and fascia release, lifestyle modification, vitamin, mineral and whole food supplementation.

Dr. Wendy was born in Trenton, NJ, but grew up in Robbinsville - Exit 7A (Fellow New Jersians will get the joke). When she was 18 years old, she decided she wanted to be a Doctor of Chiropractic. That was until she looked at the prerequisites: Physics, Chemistry, Calculus... Years of learning issues in Mathematics had left her feeling such studies would just be too overwhelming for her. So, she put her dream on the shelf and began working as an Elementary School Paraprofessional for Special Needs Students.

The children were amazing. Every day she was able to witness acts of courage, strength and perseverance as her students worked to overcome their learning differences. They did not let challenges hold them back or restrict them; they would not be defeated. Working with them inspired Wendy to begin her prerequisite classes and obtain the tutoring needed to get through one class at a time. She succeeded.

With 24 years of experience, Wendy is a Chiropractor committed to helping others discover true health. She is also an Independent Associate with Anovite, an exciting line of whole foods developed for immune support, weight loss, anti-aging, and overall health.

You are capable of so much in your lifetime, and I personally want to see you reach your life goals. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I believe an essential part of obtaining your full potential in life is good health. But that is not always easy, and it is never quick. Good health is a journey, one that I am traveling every day. My desire is to partner with you on the journey and help you reach Whole Body Wellness.

I am currently based in Dalton, GA with my partner of 22 years, Audrie. We have two adult children, Rachel and Zachary, and we share a home with our dog, Pumpkin, and cat Fuego.
